Eligibility: Active-Duty Military, Servicemembers/Reservists and Veterans
Overview: We’ve partnered with Green Bay Scuba, Madison Scuba, St. Croix Scuba in Hudson, WI and Divepoint Scuba in Stevens Point, WI to provide Open Water certifications. Through this program, veterans will become PADI or SSI certified as well as receive a mask and snorkel.
What to expect:
- 8-12 hours of self-guided, online coursework
- Two full-days, classroom and pool time
- Two partial-day open water dives

Application Deadline: March 1
*medical waiver must accompany application to be considered
Selection Notification: March 15
Class Schedule: set between each individual and their respective scuba instructor(s)
*Applications received after March 1, 2025 will be added to the waitlist and/or considered for the 2026 Session
Participation Requirements:
Medical Form Submitted with Application
$200 deposit paid to Dive Shop upon selection
Minimal Physical Expectations: very comfortable in the water, ability to swim 200 yards without stopping, tread water for 10 mins, ability to carry up to 50lbs of gear on yourself in order to enter the water
