3rd Annual Lakeshore Games

The Lakeshore Games is an annual fitness competition hosted by CrossFit Manitowoc and CrossFit Eastern Ridge that raises money for local charities. The competition is divided into two divisions: Rx and Scaled. The two divisions ensure that the event could be both challenging for the experienced athletes, yet attainable for the more novice athletes.

The inaugural event was hosted at CrossFit Eastern Ridge in August 2014, and the overwhelmingly positive responses from participants indicated that we needed to continue the event and GROW the event. Our first year involved 70 athletes across the two divisions, and in 2015 we moved to a new larger location at Riverview Middle School and had 85 athletes competing and upwards of 40 volunteers.  In 2016, we are introducing a Partner Scaled Division alongside the RX Individual Division which will again be hosted at Riverview Middle School.

The proceeds we raise from registration costs and event proceeds is donated to the charity chosen for that year. ‘Winners’ of the competition are awarded Swag Bags donated by our sponsors.

What we’re all about:

We pride ourselves on building this competition with a dual focus:

Help others in need
Use our God-given health and fitness to “WOD for a Cause”
